What I have a good idea now from hindsight how things should have been from the start, I'd like to hear from you guys what you would have made different and what you would have kept the same. So for anybody who would like to participate, please list two things:
- One thing you would change
- One thing you would keep the same
Please be respectful of others when posting, and no spam please.

One thing I would change: remove the possibility of fighting Hollywood (or the strongest, wtfpwning NPC at the time) so freaking early. I know that the odds were against getting him, but...that sucks soooo much. xD
One thing I would keep: I definitely like how you made the saga so...personal. It didn't feel like you generalized anything or left anyone out, really. The teleporter posts were awesome, and the casual mentions of the characters in the Control Room posts were cool as well. So...yeah, definitely keep making efforts to involve everyone in your next saga as you did here.

One thing I would change: I would make collar detonations the same day of the week every week. Yes, it is a bit long, but it still keeps the "cramping" factor involving the fights (imagine if you HAD done a 72 hour fight, too) and collars meaning that for some people, you had to be available one specific random day every week. I'd alleviate that just a bit with a more predictable day that people can work their jobs and life around a bit given that its an auto-elimination that kills your Point Value.
One thing I would keep: I like your judging system. There are a few things regarding it that I would probably adjust slightly (and I'm sure you already feel the same way) but I would love to see this again. This helps solve some of the possible issues with someone going strong and suddenly just getting eliminated due to not being able to put their full effort into it a single time (not repeatedly) like "judgment only" systems can do. At the same time, however, I felt like there was a bit of snowballing going on where (to an extent) someone could reach a point where they could vomit on their keyboard and still beat 90% of the people they faced (keep in mind: I'm pointing out a possibility in the system; it didn't actually happen that way and the actual contestants got exactly where they deserved to be with the exception of Belle, and that is only due to bad luck on his part of being faced against Sage).
---
I'm going to limit it to just those since that's all you asked for, but if you'd like, I could mention a few other things I tossed around, once I remember them all.

One thing I would change: I would try to choose a better time to start the saga. Even with all the automatic eliminations, we started to become pressed for time towards the end due to the holidays. Although it luckily did not turn out much of an issue this time around, it very well could have been a problem if more people still remained in the competition. Late winter, early spring and early autumn are arguably the best timing windows to start a major saga.
One thing I would keep: I would keep the 1 post per person limit in regular fights. Even with 48 hours, we would still sometimes cut it close as far as when we posted our RP`s. That is why I dreaded the thought that Ander might increase the required post count. Luckily, he did not and I am hoping it will not even be considered an option in the next DA (obviously, Colosseum and Finale fights would still be longer with an increased time limit).

My suggestions are actually the same as Ashe's. If collars always went off on, say, Wednesday and Sunday at midnight, I think that would help a lot.
The PV system was definitely a good idea, and worth reusing.

I messed up there, yeah. It was you that fought him in the coliseum there. I accidentally said Sage, because I was thinking "the top tier fighters" when I typed.

One thing I would change: A better period to start the saga. DA took place during a period where a substantial amount of people had to prepare for exams. September would have been the perfect time, as it is the time for some when their studies commenced, or resumed.
One thing I would keep: The control room aspect of DA. It was awesome. It reminded me of The Condemned where you had the participants battling on the island, meanwhile, the staff were engaged in their own storyline.
Does honesty earn respect or inspire revenge? Is it smarter to attack the strong or annihilate the weak?

The ending of the saga conflicted with a lot of member's final exam schedules. The beginning was fine. In my opinion.

Change: It's been said, but the collar explosions. As much as it sucked losing first round to a NPC, I was still alive and in the game. But thanks to a particularly crammed weekend and having to wait for the results of the fight before I could post again, I had a tiny slice of time to post, and it was even written (I should've just left out the Control Room scene) but I needed clarification. Honestly, a LOT of that was pure fucking coincidence and bad timing, which really couldn't be helped, but I just hate leaving a saga based on non-saga reasoning, especially since it's the third time that's happened to me.
Same: Your dedication to the members who joined RP wise. You made sure that every character was noticed and the teleporter posts, if it hadn't been obvious already, really showed that each person mattered and that their writing was being read and noticed, even if it was just by the saga runner. It's an exhausting job, but it makes people want to RP, and I'd say it creates the best overall effect in a saga. I think people will remember this DA out of the recent ones rather fondly. I know I will.

Just to clarify: Are you saying that you would like the collar dusting mechanic removed entirely?

I'm not sure. It's a good way to weed out inactives, but by the same token, a lot of those people in round 2 weren't inactive. If not removed, it needs to be more lenient.

OH SHIT! LET ME COUNT THE WAYS! What? One thing? MOTHER FUCK! LMAO
<_<
Different: Maybe 2 posts in each fight per person? One just isn't always good enough to flesh out the good shit always>_>
Same: Err... Keep the Collar dusting 'Enter the bunker or die' thing the same I mean, your did take the old style and convert it, and if I recall correctly, that was a big thing back then. Yeah something like that
*Walks off thinking that two combat days in a single round would have been funny as hell*

I definitely gotta speak against more than one post per Combat Day. This DA format was... intense enough, writing-wise. I think adding more on top of it would have just burnt people out.

The faster people burn out, the better chance I have of reaching top 5, yes?

Assuming you don't burn out yourself, yes.

SAME: Timing. Just to be an asshole and go against what everybody else said.
EDIT: Sorry, I understand, but Ander requested that "Please be respectful of others when posting". So I'm going to have to remove that line. ~Ashe

CHANGE: Make the collar clock things a little more lax. I don't know if that means widen the time between collar days (the space doesn't have to be 'dead'; you could have two combat days between the collar days assuming they were twice as long apart or w/e) and some kind of grace period. Like, if a combat day ends on Saturday at eight, you shouldn't be able to be dusted on Saturday at nine. Or whatever. Maybe this is impractical.
SAME: I know Soph already said it, but definitely the personalization/stylization of the saga. It was very cool to see all of this stuff happening behind the scenes, and how you managed to work in personal stuff for each character, etc. I think that's what really made this year's DA awesome.
