Even though I'm not exactly active anymore, I've still known some of you a long time, so I wanted to let you guys know.

Yesterday my boyfriend proposed to me. We've been together 2.5 years, and living together 2 years, so we're pretty compatible. I had always brought up marriage, it's something I've always wanted. He was afraid, fear of failure, and divorce. We had a fight, a little over a month ago, and I finally told him that I would stop pushing him and I would let him take his time.

Turns out that a month ago he began planning to propose, his mom lives out of town so he told her, and she had his grandmothers rings ready for him. So on christmas morning he tells me he has a gift for me, it's a big box. So I unwrap the box to find stryfoam in it, so I figure it's like a fragile figure or something. Inside is a clear box with purple tissue paper, and as I opened that box and pulled out what was inside my boyfriend (who had gotten down on one knee in front of me while I was on the couch) asked me to marry him.

I was so shocked, since he always said "some day" and I didn't think it would happen. I said yes, and cried, and kissed him, and all of that lol.

The rings are beautiful, 18 carat white gold, 11 diamonds, and it's 3 rings that look like one once they're all worn. I told him I'd be happy with a ring from a vending machine, as long as I was marrying him, but the fact that it's his grandmothers ring makes it priceless to me.

I'm so happy, I got everything I wanted. Now I just have to wait for him to be ready for the actual wedding =P.
