My doctor and my health insurance do not cover work related injuries. That's workers compensation. I was hurt lifting a garbage can on the job, they need to pay for my doctor's visit. I was told that because I was a part time employee and currently in "temp" status I didn't get covered...

Well that was bullshit. I got the form I need and I found a doctor that does Workers comp.

EDIT: What I meant was, I asked for the proper forms and procedures for this and they denied me. Metaphorically I was asking to see the doctor. xD

I did a double-take at Vad's predicament, actually. That sounds like an unbelievably huge hassle. We just, like, go to the doctor and the doctor's like 'lolyup ur shoulder's stupid here's a form to tell work you won't work for a bit.'

We don't have to get work to 'cover' it. We see the doc for free and if he decides the claim is legit, then work has to pay compensation or else the gov't is like 'raaar!'
