No, he began after the green goblin when Mary Jane literally knelt down in front of him prepping her lips and he turned her down with all pride and sad face. He's still the perfect spider-man, I'll give him that, but they need to make him funnier than the main villain...

I never came around to Tobey as Spider-Man. Peter Parker maybe. In my opinion all they really need to make the series better is to have less downtime, more good action scenes and more quippage.

I dislike Steven Seagal. He has this tv show documenting his time as a cop, yeah apparently when he's not making crappy action movies he's a cop. Although calling him a cop might be stretching it a bit. I only saw one episode, but he was never in the thick of the action, most of his time was spent in the passenger seat telling the camera how he can sense when somebody is gonna run, or pull a knife, ect. Honestly I've never seen somebody such a massive ego. He described himself as a 'master martial artist' several times, 'master fire arms expert' when he was teaching some other cop how to shoot properly. He came off like a complete idiot.

also, steven segal is so awesome it hurts. you guys should look up his filmography, it's chocked full of hilarity. pay particular attention to the ones where he is not only the leading role, but also producer and writer. so good. plus, his music albums.

I one hundred percent agree. I was telling people at work earlier that even dropping the cast, I would expect them to retake JJJ. However, I did actually like Tobey as Spidey. I'm not entirely worried about the rest of the cast. Aunt May was fairly good as well though. I hate scrapping all the build up from Doc Conners though.

EDIT: Apparently, there was more where they were insisting that Spidey 4 be filmed in 3D with very little time to do the filming and the crew not actually having experience knowing how to do it. So that added to the time constraints. They said that the "reboot" Spidey WILL be in 3D, because that's pretty much a free money maker now and thus every action movie is going to be that way thanks to Avatar.
