This seems as good a place as any to say this.

As of today, I profess 'agnosticism' (though I have, effectively, been one for at least a year).

Also today, as I am no longer worried about the restriction of my status as ministerial student, I broke my lung-cherry, and smoked. It was wonderful.

I just noticed this thread, so my apologies, but happy belated birthday.

Also, yes, you've seemed to me to be someone that has leaned in one direction in your beliefs, but considered yourself something else. Like, I remember something you said once about it, along the lines of "Actually, all evidence points contrary to this... but..."

Part of the joy of being born into a particular tradition, and constantly pushed toward being the culmination of that tradition (a minister). I gave my first sermon at age six. Not exactly my choice.
