You know... I was thinking about this. Not gonna change my vote, but bear with me anyway. The townies have one confirmed reveal role already. Kaden. Two reveal roles, especially one as strong as Mal's kind of seems a bit overpowered. Just saying.

But it says Johnathen Meer is Mordikaiser the Master of Metal.

It goes on to say that your ability is one time use and is Curse of the Grave. It says you turn them into a Ghost, the target loses their abilities and they become under your control.

I dont see why a Towner would have such an ability, because you have a risk of throwing someone under the bus that we may actually need just to save yourself.

Your explanation doesnt make a whole lot of sense to me either. It seems like you'd be better off just taking the hit yourself unless you wanted to roll dice and hoped to pick a Mafia member and not a healer or revelaer role character...

Kadens Reveal Role is a Triggered Ability and he gets to see everything, even alignment, but there has to be No Lynchin on that day and he doesnt get to pick the target really, it's just who ever has the highest votes.

Mine lets me see their names, the name of the ability, and ta description of their ability. I don't get to know their actual alignment, but it seems like its kind of obvious from Mords ability that he is mafia.

Also Whompt, that's why I suspect an above mentioned scenario that Mafia has a reveal role as well.

I know I pretended to act 'lost when the thread opened up, but I was debating on playing stupid for another day and maybe hoping to spot yet another mafia and doing a double whammy. Cable got cut off around 9 am ... and from then til about the time i came back and posted... I had been debating on should I reveal Meer for what he is or not.

I've played a few options in my head and after a while I decided that I better do it while I still can, because there is always a risk that i could die in Night Four without giving the info I knew and I think that once IM dead that I cant say anything else.

Since you already have two Mafia dead, and I found out who Mordy is, I figure that even though it could tax our healer and the healer has to hope they select the mafian target... revealing Mordy was the best option so you can go ahead and know who a third mafian actually was...

If it's true that the ghost loses abilities and we would think that Kaden would be the likely target of CoG, then I think protection should be applied to Mal. Yeah, he's the obvious choice but he might also be our only investigative power left.

We have Amumu, though that might be a one-off. There's also a Soraka in this game, who likely has a doctor power.

Many things almost happened all at once in light of the situation. Twisted Fate almost drew his card from those floating before him when they suddenly dropped from the air with clumsiness. Soraka almost infused a warrior with valuable energy but found herself faltering, worthless to her team. In terms of this game, it's just for flavour. In actual LoL, it means that the people in the top lane are Missing In Action and might be sneaking up on someone elsewhere.

I'm simply pointing out that his post is unintelligible, and he doesn't seem to be at all certain what he knows and what he doesn't know; what the PM supposedly revealed and what it supposedly did not reveal.

I am indeed Morde. Mal, unclearly, indicated that he did not know alignment and is merely assuming I am Mafia. He also, pointedly (though this is more on my end, since neither of us can quote posts) got my power slightly wrong.

He isn't entirely bullshitting (he got it correct that I'm Morde, and I'm willing to chalk that up to a function of his power rather than a lucky guess), but considering how quickly he's jumping on me being Mafia, and how the portion of my power that he got wrong is exactly what he changed to justify that quick jump,

Your 'version' of you ability, as I said, doesn't make a whole lot of sense. You get to pick someone and if Mafia tries to get you, you get to throw someone else under the bus to save your own skin? For a Towner to have that ability and use it, means a huge risk of taking out the Healer Role. If you were a Towner, I don't think you'd have used the ability till you knew more info on who was the healer so you wouldn't hurt the Towner's chance of winning.

So it's kind of obvious that you are a Mafian.

Meer: He's already denied misreading, and said that there's no mentioning of what you said. I'm guessing, but I think it's more likely that you're lying. I think you're trying to use his unintelligibility to undermine his credibility. Smart.

Also, I think it doesn't make sense as an ability that you use on your teammates, given the game flavour.

I'm not certain how I 'quickly jumped' to calling you Mafia though... In my revealing of who my champion was and in my ability, i clearly stated I wasn't able to see ones alignment, but it seemed obvious of who was Mafia by their abilities.

I didn't pointedly get your power slightly wrong either. My eyes and brain are working correctly, and I put into my own words, what your power is. It doesn't say that the Ghost is used as a shield and will die in your place, it says the Ghost loses his abilities and is under your control.
