Dragon Ball Mafia: DAY 4

[John Doe]

Goku was asleep in his bed, snoring loudly. His dinner, which consisted of 26 bowls of friend rice, 7 plates of meat, and a fully roasted giant salmon, had filled the sleeping Saiyan to the brim. Before he knew it, he was out like a light. Consciousness faded as the willows danced in his dreams. Everything was happy and peaceful and nothing could ever tear him out of his silent harmony.

It was Goku's best night ever.

Across the neighborhood, the tyrant Frezia adjusted his Scouter, ready for another night of investigation. He's been quite active the past few nights, and had amassed quite a heap of information. "Filthy monkeys, your time ends now!"

"Says you." The short, lizard-like emperor of the universe turned at these words, expecting the face of his intruder. All he could see was a bright sphere of energy. The Ki ball flew out like a face humper, engulfing Frieza's horny head completely. It exploded, decapitating the changeling in a single, colorful attack. The tiny Scouter rolled from out of Frieza's lifeless hands, stopping at the heel of the assassin. The mafioso lifted his foot and smashed the device.

"That was easy."

Teemer has died. He was Frieza, a townsperson who was granted a Scouter. His ability let him investigate one player each Night Phase and allowed him to determine what alignment they sided with. But now he's dead, his Scouter crushed, and the information useless.

You all have 24 hours yet again. Only 8 of you are left now. Make the most of it.

Against my better judgement, I'm going to go with Junius's advisal not because I trust them in any way, but because I tend to agree with most of their logic and process of elimination, and I have nothing better to go on. AND we need to lynch someone, for serious. If Celena is mafia, I'll put some more trust in Junius. If he's not, suspect Kaden, Vad and Jarka a little more. =P

I refuse to give any stock to what Junius says anymore, and not just because the youngster pointed his dirty little finger at me either. Night before last, he was all about getting rid of Rose, then suddenly places Rose on the "no suspicion whatsoever" list. It's the kind of flip-flopping my addled brain might have done. Which is what he accused me of being Mafia for. Seems a tad bit hypocritical to me. And his reasoning for switching? "Oh, I was just trying to get you guys to think. Ha ha!" This is the type of attitude I've come to expect from this generation, but it still ruffles my feathers.

Next, he places others on the don't suspect list and adds the qualifier that "I could be off". That way, in case one of them turns up to be Mafia, he could always just say "My bad guys..." As for his suspicion list, Celena's been quiet in every game she's played, and I've been a flopper for most of them as well. Especially now, since last game I stuck to my guns and got lynched for it. It doesn't pay to not go with the majority in this game. Of course, back when I was a kid, I was glad to not have gone with the majority. If I had, I'd be six feet under with the dinosaurs.

I just can't trust anything that Junius says anymore. I'm just gonna get a feeling for what you young folks are up to and go with my withered old heart.

Lynch Zarbon as he's been stirring up more crap than anyone. I'm also pretty certain that he is Junius. His voting habits are in line with Junius' accusations from day to day and it seems like his type of logic.

Yeah, the wise one is right. I hardly post in every mafia I compete in. For some reason the lunatic of a host and a few others have always criticized me for that, so not surprised Junius has me on his suspect list.

Edit: Come to think of it, the pink haired one has been one of those who have tried to lynch me because I don't say much 'which automatically makes me suspicious', add in the fact that he's buying into Junuis's messages, I'd say there's a possibility that the pink haired one is Junius. If so, then I'd say it's him who's trying to stur things in order to get the townies to vote against each other.

Because I don't want to think of ways of further delaying the reveal, Rose is the highest on my suspicion list. We have this "Junius" using sleeptalking to paint a target on Rose's back. That may initially seem like a bad thing, but if Rose actually is mafia then it's quite a good decoy. People who move to have him lynched will look like they're with Junius trying to get him killed (yes, I see the irony of pointing this out while explaining why he's suspicious). Normally I'd say that that's just sleep talking and you shouldn't put any stock into it whatsoever.

Then we get the reveal that he's Gohan and anyone who tries to target him with any action during the night will end up getting killed. What a great way to prevent anyone from being able to verify that through investigation. So he's being targeted with sleeptalk to look innocent and then he basically challenges anyone to verify that upon threat of death.

So... yeah. That's the most suspicious set of things that I think I've seen so far. It could be 100% coincidence. I was originally planning on actually voting for Rose, but with so little to actually go on, I want to hear what he has to say first.

So the day after I post this, Rose comes out swinging with "Kaden is mafia." Not really surprising. However, I still want to see what he has to say about all of this.

I'm convinced either he is Junius or he has a way of communicating with him. Suddenly, the night after this is posted, he's agreeing with Junius when, the day before, he was telling us the guy shouldn't be trusted.

Just some food for thought.

At this point, I'm mostly just for lynching anybody, since we keep not lynching anyone and as a result we know nothing. This is compounded by the fact that two of our investigation roles died without telling us anything. Only way to figure out who mafia is is to start lynching.

Side-note: I would be willing to put a hell of a lot more stock in Junius's opinion if they were showing themselves. As it is, they're just making things more confusing. Of course, that may be the point. Such perilousness.

I apologize. "Kaden is mafia" was an incorrect interpretation of your post. Josh has been gunning for me this whole game for absolutely no reason and I keep worrying people are going to start agreeing with him just to get a lynch.

I have to leave in a couple hours and I probably won't be back until the day's over. We really need you guys to not lynch me in the meantime.

Lordy lordy. Picking on an old lady like me when there are plenty of other suspicious people. I know I don't have much time left on this plan anyway, but would you really begrudge an old lady her last years? I'm not mafia. I know that doesn't hold much sway in this game, but it's the truth. If you guys seriously just want someone to lynch, why not take a look at Vad, who killed someone with his ability the very first day. Like it was said before, that was quite a leap of faith he made when he did that, since we had no leads. There's also the fact that the mafia have stand to benefit more from ending a day early than the townies do, so the ability fits more with that side of the house.

I guess you young'uns may have made up your minds though. I would have liked to have actually been able to use my ability, but it seems like I won't be able to now. I will wish you kids good luck though. Two investigation roles and a doctor down... well, it'll probably be hard going from here. I doubt anything I said will change your minds, but I would like to implore you to please reconsider.

You really want to know? *old lady cackle* Fine. I suppose I might as well, though by telling you it will prevent me from ever using it. Every night I have to pick someone to investigate. If I'm killed that night, the town gains complete knowledge of the person I picked.

So there you go, you impetuous youngsters. I guess now it doesn't really matter if I live or die today, since no mafia in their right mind will kill me during the night phase for fear that I'll choose one of them.
