Also, new rage: AP Shaco outside of Dominion, on my team. Neck and neck game, woulda won easily if shaco could actually back up all that melee initiating he did trying to lead people to nests.

When a person says "This is not a good lane for me," and they are playing a champion that they tend to use a lot (or are against a champ that they have used a lot), that usually means they will not get farm/get killed repeatedly if some form of lane switch is not made.

Oddly enough, I stopped doing so bad with him no longer hyper pushing the lane.

My team still lost terribly, but eh, I wound up dying the least and baited two of them into dying on our fountain turret. Apparently Kayle's ult doesn't protect her from that turret XD

Yes, we need to be more open to switching.

That said, the above quote does not mean "I'M LEAVING THIS LANE SO SOMEONE ELSE NEEDS TO GO TO IT" and that's what needs to be said. Don't hint at it, don't allude to it, don't maybe suggest it. Just fucking do it.

Jarka is not the only for whom this has been a problem. DO NOT BE SUBTLE ABOUT SWITCHING LANES. BE AS BLUNT AS POSSIBLE.

Also, sometimes you just have to stick with a crappy match-up because you're really the only one for the job.

And this has gotten a lot better, but having to get last hits at your turret because of how hard they're pushing =/= 'I need a new lane'

To last hit at a tower its difficult in 2v1 because, you usually not only have 2 harrassers, but the minions, aside from the big cannon one, die on only 2 shots of the turret. You have to be able to hit a minion before the turret hits in then follow up with 1-2 more hits before the turret wipes it out... depending on your own damage output.

You dont always, or most of the time, have a minion wave to back you up at a tower to help you drop their health so you can last hit, because you most likely just lost a wave from said harrass, that brought the enemy wave up on your ass.

But you can do it. And there are some champions who can't do a blasted thing to you at turret. If you're 2v1-ing against a Singed and one-other-champ, for example, you're pretty much set. Be sensible. Don't extend too far out, or Singed can get a fling on you without taking too much turret damage. Be ready to blow your exhaust / root / stun / whatever the moment they come in range. Always be calculating whether or not they'd be able to dive you, recognizing that, in a 2v1, if you die and one of them dies, that's a victory for them.

Last hitting at turret isn't really that hard. You'll lose a few in the earlier levels, but if you have a good sense of your own damage, it's actually pretty easy.

I love 2v1-ing. The level advantage, once present, really kicks things up, and the fact that you're getting a lane's worth of cs while they're splitting a lane show up in mid-game. I usually just end up forcing out my lane-opponents by level 9 or 10 (as either Plank or Udyr, my two solo top go-tos).

Melee minions die in three shots. If a Melee minion is at full health, let it get hit by the tower twice, then auto-attack once for the last hit.

Caster minions do die in two, though. To last hit them at the tower you auto-attack, let the tower hit, then auto-attack again for the gold.

That assumes your bonus AD is below Pickaxe level.

Along with this: I hate solo top. I'm not good at it and I always get stuck against champs built for making life miserable for a one(Singed/Trynd, wtf) and I, generally, don't play anyone built for 2v1. Mid lane? Dig it. Bot lane? Cool beans. But heaven help any team with me solo top and a jungler that isn't giving me solid help. Maybe I need to get back into Singed.

I'm actually finding I'm more comfortable on the top half of the map more than anywhere else. AD carry just isn't my style these days, and I doubt I'll ever enjoy support more than the odd occasional fling with someone like Sona.

I think I've become pretty good at 1v2 top with both Renekton and Riven now (the latter being absurdly good I recently discovered). Just requires paitence, caution and a jungler on your team with brains.

Happens a lot on ranged AD, actually. Focus on the CS and remember that 1 champ kill is only about ~20 minions (less if the champ is already on a death streak). That definitely helps.

EDIT: Maybe not "a lot," but it's definitely not uncommon.

Yeah. <20 even, unless we're talking killing sprees. It always surprises me how much more significant cs can be than farm.
