I'll get them for the sake of getting them... only if I have enough to buy a set of each. Otherwise theres no use.

So I wound up in a game>_> top Lane as Nasus.. and against a Renekton... I got bitched at and trashed talked because the Renekton got a lot of creep kills.

I mean I thought my main focus was to Build up my Q. Not harass a bastard that has a stun... a stun that will allow him to deal a good chunk of damage to you...

So.... how am I suppose to handle this? How di you butt fuck a Renekton?

A Nasus that has been farming their Q correctly will almost always beat a Renekton in a straight up fight 1v1 after level 6. Your ult is much stronger than his, wither will drop his damage considerably and is probably a better mechanic to chase with than his dash+stun, you also have much stronger lifesteal.

So, really the best way to cause a Renekton trouble is that if he comes in too close to you while you're farming, just fight him straight up. He'll either fight you back and lose or have to run. Then you just go back to farming.

The trick is to not let him harass you down low, as he has much stronger harassment capabilities than you do thanks to the dash, stun, Q, dash combo. You just have to manage to either weather that (grab some armour) or avoid is as much as you can. You can also just chase him down and hit him with a Q after he does his combo if he does it in a non-optiomal way that leaves him exposed.

Like Anzekay said, you can't really out-harass a Renekton as Nasus. His kit is just better for it.

You played correctly, really. The best thing you can do for your team is farm. If other players had a problem with Ren, they should have come to gank him.

For me at least I'd just build Frozen Heart a little earlier. That way you have the mana to chain Withers and use E if he sticks around long enough, the armor to last a while and the CDR to slap that bitch upside the head with plenty of Qs

Always merc treads on Nasus. If you intend on trading creep farm, I would recommend getting a HoG on top of Philo. Nasus scales way better than Renekton with the same amount of farm, your teammates shouldn't be bitching at you unless you were like 60 cs below him, in which case you're doing Nasus all wrong Sad. Let Renekton push you to your tower, with your Q it's not hard to creep farm off towers. Renekton begins looking to harass once his rage meter is in the red when his abilities do way more damage, just avoid getting hit by him when he has high rage and you should be fine laning against him.

Edit: Also, max W before E.

You can still stop Nasus farming as Renekton provided you am have a smart jungler on you team. A couple of level advantages, plus forcing them to ward up a lot more or play a little bit more conseratively will give you that upper hand you need.

Incredibly satisfying. He wont escape me again!

The problem with Nasus (or Tryn, or any other hyper carry) is that he's super reliant on the rest of his team. He needs to be able to afk farm for ~20 minutes while the rest of his team just doesn't lose the game. If your team can give you that opportunity, you will almost certainly end up winning the game.

Yeah, you can beat Nasus early game and even shut down his early farm, but if you don't do anything with that advantage in the mid-game, it won't mean shit.

No. Nasus is all about being up in people's faces hitting shit. Being slowed to oblivion isn't going to help him achieve that.

CDR caps at 40%. If you're grabbing Frozen Heart and building your philo stone into Shurelya's, that's 35% CDR reduction right there without boots o' lucid. The boots, in that case, are wasted. And they're damn expensive anyway; 700 gold just for boots 2 and 15% CDR? Get your Kindlegem instead.

Really, I'd say it comes down to what you anticipate needing to defend your lane. Your job as Nasus is to sit top and farm allllll day.

If you're laning against an AD champ without significant CC (Caitlyn, Wukong), get Ninja Tabi. They're cheap and awesome.

Magic damage making you cry? Grab a null-magic mantle and let it sit there. Don't even feel obligated to build it into something else; if you decide you absolutely don't need anything it builds into, and you're working on your sixth item, sell it. You're out 120 gold, but that's a mere 5 or 6 cs. If that's the difference between farming your Q and not farming your Q due to harass, it's hella worth it. If it saves you from one recall back to base to heal, it's worth it. And it's not like it can't be built into useful things. Don't build merc treads just for the mr.

If you didn't grab merc treads, but are getting rocked by CC, build an Eleisa's. Or Cloak and Dagger, if you've got some decent AD.

I say all this as someone who doesn't play Nasus, so grain-of-salt.
