Mexican is so OP. It'll never get nerfed.

Hate: Acute ear infection for the past few days
Like: Urgh, I am just going to lie here for a few minutes with a warm compress. Four hours and a nap like the dead later, the infection seems to be gone from that ear. Yay!

Hate: that the absolutely LAST place I wanted to work is the only one that has called me back to come in and take tests/interview.
Like: it has at least motivated me to TRY REALLY HARD to find something - anything - else. ![]()
Like: Freakin' Doctor Who, man. About to start Season 5 and I've just been powering through episode after episode on Netflix. Its screwed my entire sleep schedule up.
Also, that episode in Season 4 where he has the gas mask on and the general says something to him and he turns and goes "Are you my mummy?" I fucking cracked up so hard. It was very well timed, given that it was a random ass throwback to an episode during Season 2. Also like: The guy that plays the Master during the David Tennant episodes is totally awesome. He looks awesome, he laughs awesome, he exudes pure awesome.

How sad is the end? HOW SAD?

Piper Juunanagou Wrote:How sad is the end? HOW SAD? Extremely, mostly due to the absolute feeling of closure it had, in more ways than just the Doctor himself but for every single character introduced thus far in the series. I really laughed at the "and still not ginger!" comment though, given the introduction of the Tenth complaining about the same thing. I'm assuming all the support characters from the Ninth and Tenth Doctors' times aren't going to return again (well, maybe Sarah Jane, given her longevity in the show) which is rough, because I've found every single character, every single one, to be absolutely great. Honestly, every one of them, no matter how irritating they were at times, is very memorable and brought a lot to the show over time. I mean, even Mickey's evolution as a character. Dude looks like Ice Tea by the end of that shit. EDIT: Also, just started Season 5. Yeah, its going to take a bit for the intro to grow on me, because I miss the dramatic bass of Season 3/4. That said... a fucking tree. EDIT2: Kissogram? ...stripper? EDIT3: Yeah, definitely. ...how much?
Yeah, if there's one thing Russell T. Davies can do extremely well, it's epic finales.
But holy shit if Steven Moffat's individual shows are not fandamtabulous. You will enjoy series five and six, even if it is a bit of a change of pace. I was dead set against hating Matt Smith because heisn'tDavidTennantIhatehimbringmebackthetenthDoctor. However, just like Tennant seemed to just mesh perfectly with Davies' dramatic writing, Smith and Moffat are just perfect together. Hate: 3 1/2 weeks until the next new Doctor Who.

Also, I want to see Jenny return. Apparently the actress (who had a kid with Tennant) has been trying to get them to and it just hasn't happened yet. Not sure if it will with a new Doctor, since the current outlook is to completely divide the characters between those two doctors.

Unfortunately, Elisabeth Sladen (the actress who plays Sarah Jane) passed away this last spring.
But you do get to look forward to more River Song. For that, you will be happy, I assure you. edit: And while I'm still a Rose fanboy at heart, Amy is genuinely a better companion. I mean, she's a Scottish ginger. C'mon now. Quote:Vad's Whimsical Whimsicalisms: Men. So far, I'm not that much a fan of River, so I assume again that it'll be another character that will grow on me. And so far (on Flesh and Stone) I'm still having a rough time waiting on Smith to click with me. I know he will over time, but at the moment he's just "super awkward, trying to look nerdy" guy, as opposed to Tennant's suave and distinguished mannerisms and look.
Anyway, yeah, I'm a Rose fanboy too and love when she cameos. That said, Amy's awesome. I love the Scottish accent so much, especially the "Oi, you there!" thing. Its awesome.

Whatever: When people make a suggestion, that makes a task you're doing slightly more efficient, and then argue with you when you decide not to enact the suggestion.
Example: I was loading up the van yesterday with stuff. The van was about halfway down the driveway, since a dumpster was closer. I had to make maybe 15 trips out to the van. This old guy, who proposed to my grandmother a couple months ago or so: Why don't you just pull the van up to the house, between the dumpster and the tree? Make it a lot faster. Me: Nah. Don't feel like it. Old Guy: But it'd make it a lot faster. Me: Yeah probably. Old Guy: Don't you want to make it easier? ![]() And so on. My mom does this all the time too, and she can get downright pissy about it. I don't understand it. [/larrydavid] ![]() Mal Nova Wrote:I do apologize for using the word rape. Like: Hulu sometimes gives you the option to watch (i.e. mute) one 3 minute commercial and avoid commercials during your TV show. Best stuff ever.
