My only problem with Brotherhood was that it was SO streamlined it actually removed a fair few of the manga scenes that were, whilst not ABSOLUTELY necessary to the plot, were good and gave some plot development that was otherwise just thrown in later (as with Envy's skirmish with Ling). I don't mind them streamlining the episodes which the first anime already covered, but after that they didn't slow up at all.

That was some good shit, nice recommendation. I was really skeptic at first because it had that essence of always combining comedy with "srs bisness" moments at times, which I thought would be distracting, but became a real joy in the darker scenes of the anime.

Also the flame alchemist still gives me the creeps.

Finally got around to watching Sankarea. Was better than I expected. The premise sounds silly and what not, but it's worth a watch.

Though I am really hoping there's a sequel at some point since the ending left something to be desired.

Some parts really irked me while watching it and I never got over it. Like near the start when [spoiler]Rea molested Wanko and then it was never mentioned again[/spoiler] and the gratuitous fanservice. I'm all for fanservice, but only if it can used in a way that naturally flows within a story or fits within the plot. Rinne no Lagrange is a great example of how fanservice can be done smartly.

[spoiler]As to that scene, there's also the whole thing with Chihiro's mother (the scene with Mero and the stuff in the OAD), which makes me think they were setting things up for a possible sequel which hopefully resolves those issues. About the Rea/Wanko scene, yes they didn't mention it again, but they also ended the series with Rea going crazy again and then just going to the ending song. So if there's a sequel we'll probably get more info on it. That or I might just read the manga and see how things turn out there.[/spoiler]

Anywho, my current watching list is Space Brothers, Hyouka, and Accel World all continued from last season, in addition to Tari Tari, Arcana, Binbougami, Rendezvous, Chocolate, Hagure, Dekinai, Campione, SAO, and Kokoro Connect. Whew. I expect to drop about half of those after the three episode rule, though.
