Unsure: It's too early to call yet, but I'm not really looking forward to either the Nextbox or the PS4. I just bought a decently specced PC so I'm thinking I might become a predominantly PC gamer next generation? Not sure how I feel about that since I much prefer the console experience but it's just becoming too much bullshit.

I'll definitely have a Wii U (can't miss out on Legend of Zelda, ever) but it's not getting enough support to be my main gaming device.

Yeah not so sure I'll bother with anything besides the Wii U next generation either. I want to get a PS3 now because there's so many exclusives that came out for it in its life cycle, but almost everything I was playing on my 360 before I now play on my PC. Shit, I even got some of the same games because they were so dirt cheap to get on the PC, and I don't have to worry about space in my house for disks (if you have a serious gaming habit and don't own a house, it can be a problem). Honestly the main drawback before was not having money for a quality gaming PC. Money is one of the nice things about being grown up.

Glad that I waited to get a Wii U though. I really wanted it but figured getting to play it for a few weeks before I went to Japan would be a waste of travel money. And the price is gonna mad drop. Just ain't enough games for it right now. Until some good first-party stuff is ready to ship, I'll wait.

Relatedly though, I've been wondering about whether this is Nintendo's last console generation. The thought killed me before, but now I've thought about it I honestly would like being able to play Zelda on Steam. I think really we've taken the console generation model as far as it can go. Time for PCs and peripherals.

Like: I moved 3000 miles away from anything/everything i ever knew only to find out the job that was promised to me...didn't exist. So after app's, shit talk and interviews a handful of job's want my attention...and now the people who disregarded me want to help.

THIS and also the stupid shit never works properly or changes everything completely every other version.

Like: Dark Souls 2 confirmed to hopefully not be a trash console port on PC. Interview says it's developed on "PC base" and now has 60 FPS. Maybe I will finally finish one of these. Also as a way of setting a life goal (beyond being rich out of my eyeballs when I get older), I'm learning Japanese in an effort to speak 6 languages before I die.
