Creative ability is really a very varied term these days.
That said I think Sage was referring to a less abstract form of creativeness (I.E something more directly tangible than code -> form), which is accurate enough and a totally fair reason to find the idea of learning code difficult/uninteresting.
I am in a similar boat. I have a very strong math/science background, and a solid grasp on at least the function of programming. But the process of writing code itself is something that I am unlikely to ever get my head to any useful degree. Code and I just don't agree.
I'm just glad that my line of study is something that is mostly arts-focused, but with a solid lump of the sciences in there too. A nice share of both technical skill and applied theory. It's fun, satisfying and has loads of applications (but I do want to go into game design and animation, of course, if I can).

That's pretty fuckin' weird if your degree has nothing to do with Spanish. That's what I hated about SCHOOL, that I had to do a bunch of shit I had no interest in (guess what: years later, I've forgotten everything about the french language). But a degree? That's fucked.

Yeah. It was either spanish or German. At the time I was like '...you guys are also offering Japanese and Chinese. I'm interested in both, can't I take one of those?' 'Oh no, those would only count as electives.' '...shit. Spanish than I guess...shit.' 'Oh great, trust me it's easy.' Four and a half years later, four spanish classes because I needed 101, 102, 203 and the last one 204(which I'm taking now). I've only retained maybe four percent of what I've learned. Fuck. Just fuck. I just want to teach. ENGLISH! I want to write. IN ENGLISH.
Why must a guy take Spanish. Shit.
Like that it's an online class but fuck, I can't find anyone to partner up with to do my assignments or to give me a helping hand. The professor is a douche who savored tormenting me in class last year along with others who weren't confident and needed help and now I'm stuck with him yet again. I just hope he doesn't remember me.
Fuck Spanish. And I want to write. You butts need to rp too!
I like venting here  nice and quiet.
Now I get why some just go an easier route just to avoid this shit.

If he's teaching in English it could make him an eligible candidate in teaching minorities. It is after all America's second most common language. Not to mention in some places being bi-lingual can mean the difference in career locations and sometimes even opportunity.

If I'm not mistaken that's been ok'd already. Earlier this year in the Red Stallions thread members were allowed to use their old characters. I don't think it would be an issue really.
