- A More Dynamic Universe
- The Ability to Affect Our Universe
- More Tangible Incentives
- Reputation System
- Notification of Universe Events (More active news broadcasts... ?)

----- On this note, I think it would be nice if there was some way to organize things describing what our fellow players are up to. Like, for example, in my roleplay, an Earth city just blew up. That'd be nice to have a news bulletin about. I think that people would want to know about an exploding city, eh?

So, Zangya and Bojack, what would you think about a "News" forum/thread that the members could actually post in? You wouldn't have to wait for a staff member to come online and actually do a news update, but you could go do it yourself for the whole RPG to see. Obviously this would be moderated, but do you think that's something that wouldn't be abused?

There would no doubt be a couple of people that would abuse it. But i think that would be a good idea, i know your question wasn't directed at me but im answering on the understanding that this is an open thread.

Maybe allow anyone to post there, but the posts have to be approved by a moderator before they show? Seems like a good compromise between allowing anyone to post any event and having to wait for mods to do a writeup of stuff.

Not a bad idea, but I'm worried about 1) figuring out how to do that with the CP and 2) staff actually doing it.

What about if you made a saga where there was a common NPC enemy for everyone and basically all PC worked together, providing ofcourse that nobody started fights with other PC unless it was approved or something like that. In my opinion that would be fun to do and would possibly motivate people to write. If it's a stupid idea just let me know lol.

Like, you're saying, a real storyline saga, not a tournament sort where PC's pick sides, and fight each other? We fight one guy trying to take over the world or whatever?

I would love that again, like some of the older sagas like Proph. Child. None of this competition stuff, just story.

But story where players can make choices. Calculating Catastrophe was great, but what if Raditzu had suddenly decided to side with the Construct? If his roleplaying remainded stellar, would the Construct win? Or would this end up being another 'good guys win all' story?

Yes, something like that and also as Zangya said it would be good if people could make choices so it isn't automatically going to be PC side that wins, that would be too predictable.

Yeah, but it always feels like the sagas lately have been PC vs PC even if there is an NPC bad guy.

How about if you limited the amount of people that could switch sides so there wasn't equal numbers and only the very strong or very stupid would choose to switch sides or something like that.

Then how about a saga where "Le Suppa Badass FotherMucker" gets "TEH GOLDEN ARMAY" to attack EVERYBODY. Like, Earth, Namek, Vegeta, Mercy, Frost, Heaven and Hell, etc. Maybe somewhere inbetween, have people pick where they should go (Protect Heaven or Attack Hell?), but everybody works together to get things done.
