Going from in-training to rookie will be easy. Just roleplay a few times and it'll happen. After that is when you have to really wait and earn things

Also worth noting that once a digimon digivolves, it can digivolve freely anytime as long as it has energy. The first time they digivolve there will be a scene (like KV just did for me), after that you can digivolve how you want

They'll always digivolve back to rookie though

If so do we make up a power symbol to digivole? (friendship, courage...)

---Yes, they will, eventually. What that is will be up to you. But not for awhile.

---You don't HAVE to make a symbol, no.

---No. You'll have to find crests in order to go above Champion, and other items to do other things involving digivolution (which I won't say yet). For now, focus on getting to champion

On a lighter note, why do people insist on using names that aren't at all common? Not to pick on anyone here, but why name your character Gale? Or Micla? I could stomach Michal, being an odd spelling, but Gale?

Whatever happened to Will? John? Joe? Frank? Not picking on anyone here. It's only a minor annoyance.

QUESTION!

In the Digi-World, do we, humans, still require food? If not, i'd like to know, I'm sure that it's not really a requirement, but seeing as to how little I know about Digi-mon, I'm at a loss on if we can skip the need to eat, or if they just don't need to.

From this, I would assume so. Digimon need to eat as well, or they'll have no energy to digivolve (going from the series' example).

Digimon can hunt their own food. Humans will have to find places to eat, like a village or something
