As many of you know, the domain fees are due in the month of August. I don't know exactly when, but its not really important. What is important is that, thus far, VJ has been the only one capable of making any payments for the dracondev domain. Additionally, none of our contact information for one Jeroen der Haan has worked so far. That, along with the fact that we have no FTP access, puts us in a bit of a predicament.
At this point in time, there's no reason to believe that the RPG will be forced to close. Those of you who were here last year will recall that we went through a similar fiasco then. I simply believe it is both the fair thing to do for the members and the responsibility of the staff to let you guys know where the RPG stands.
If anything else developes, I'll be sure to post it here.

Once again, if anyone has any way to contact Jeroen, please do so. He has locked out all of our accesses to literally ANY method of backing anything up other than hand copying each of it and starting fresh on many things.

Should we save our roster information and character vault information just in case the worse possible situation happens?
Since I didn't know where else to put this, I thought it would make sense to ask here.

I have a backup of the roster, just in case the staff somehow don't get it all. Just go to the roster, click file, then save page in your browser. Tada. My roleplays were already saved. >_>
In any case, it would be smart to set up a Chubbs 'Fallout Bunker' forum, and have the address stickied for everyone to note down in advance. That way, when the site does implode, we can retreat to the bunker, and from there staff can just post updates about what's happening.
Edit: Also, I'd recommend for people not to save their TPs, since they won't show up on the roster and you'll have no way to prove to staff that you had them.

There is no need to save your rosters. I just went through and copied everything down from each link on the web site. All your rosters, the rules, shop, ship, dragonballs, transformation and abilities page. Everything is saved on my computer and I plan on making a new save file for the roster page every 12 hours if/until the site goes down. Maybe every 6 hours because I know I do alot of updates.
Don't worry I got that part covered.
And yes..don't save any TP use it all asap.

I sent a message to Higgy asking if he knew anything. Don't know how much good it will do but hey, worth a shot right?

Just a thought but couldn't you just copy the code from each page and put it on a back up server. We don't have to code to the training system so that would have to be updated by hand but if its only for a little bit, untill we can get something like that back or get Jeroen back wouldn't that work?

Well, in the worst possible situation, I could probably help code a new training program, I'm getting into php-Sql. Also, we could move to excell and I could buy us a domain, I'll soon have enough money. (And yes, a real, ,.com domain, only for chubbs, and maybe mine as well.)
If you want this, just tell me.
EDIT: I think Jeroen is shutting down dracondev:

Well I'm sure Rad and Rei will think over your proposal and get back to you, but I think a plan is already in the works.

Yeah, so if you want a domain, I can get you a one year registration at excell. I'll 'pay'. Because I tehnically don't pay, but post on the forums and earn money.....hard to explain.
So, I can help with a domain and the training script.

I noticed that, too. He used to have other information about his projects and a couple of links there. Not an encouraging sight.

I've hardcopied all my shiz from RPGD. Not a terrible concern, but just a preventitive measure for me.
I'm also all for Supes's idea for a "fall-out bunker" forum.

As far as the regular dracondev site... Yeah, I saw that too. Looks to me like he deleted that info one day and just left us up for the hell of it, when he was planning to vanish with "intentions of coming back" in time. Then just forgot amidst all his partying.
I was going to try to contact Higgy.... then realized I no longer know how, since he doesn't get on on the AIM SNs that I know.

I already have a temp forum set up, Rad has the link if anything happens he'll post it so we can keep you all up to date.
I'm also looking into buying myself a burning board. If worst comes to worst I'll give it to chubbs.
Mura said he dropped higgy a line...just waiting on contact back.

If anything, I still have access to the old forum site that I have the original XT forum still on along with one of the oldest incarnations of the staff forum, back when Rad was a regular Mod and Jeff Crosby was still around as Turlis. Yeah, those Network54 boards. They aren't the greatest solution, but they are a free one that is workable and come with a chatroom attached. Still have my name and all the forums there.
EDIT: Here's the best I can do so far: http://www.zoetermeeronline.nu/?p=profiel&pid=1073
This is shortly after he abandoned us, but from the looks of it, he immediately lost interest in it as well.

Thats good stuff Rei, I'll contact you later about the Burning Board stuff, been planning to do it sometime this just gives me a reason. I'd have no problem buying it and letting it be used only for chubbs.
Actually if I can find my credit card I'll buy it now.
