I've read almost the first full page of it, before this post, and enjoyed it. The only thing you've gotta remember is that every time a new person speaks, you're supposed to make a new paragraph. Makes it slightly confusing at times. Other than that, still cool.

You need to break up your paragraphs. It gets hard to read when it's a big chunk.
Funny this should come from you.

Please don't instigate a flame and if you look at his latest RP you'll find there is only one paragraph that resembles clumpy.

Making new paragraphs and how you signify new speakers all depend on the writing style. You'll find a multitude of different styles on Chubbs, mine being that I don't do the whole new paragraph new speaker thing.
Though, I wouldn't be surprised for the first page to be confusing. When I first started out, the saga was atrocious.

I tend to agree with Kirano. Still a good read if you can get past the extremely different style

Whatever works for you. It's not like people are trying to market this stuff ... I think. *Narrows eyes at admins*

Quote:Write each person's spoken words, however brief, as a separate paragraph. Use commas to set off dialogue tags such as "she said" or "he explained." Closely related narrative prose can be included in a paragraph with dialogue. If one person's speech goes on for more than one paragraph, use quotation marks to open the speech and at the beginning--but not the end--of each new paragraph in the speech. To close the speech, use quotation marks at the end of the final paragraph.
Super Buu's right and it is not different styles, Broli, the other people who do that are just grammatically incorrect. Not saying you have to follow this, I'm just saying that it is, indeed, incorrect not to do so.

I'm not going to get in an argument with you over it. I'm just saying that RPing is how you make it. I'm not looking to go really in depth in this discussion, as I don't expect you to understand until you've been RPing for a bit. Once you have, however, you'll see that a multitude of people have their own styles. Are they grammatically correct? It doesn't matter.
The longer you attend writing-based RPGs, whether it be Chubbs, Evo, whatever, the more you'll come to understand that.
Again, it doesn't matter.

Why are you guys still arguing about breakig u paragraphs? It might have just been a brain fart thing, and everyone is bound to mess up sometime. We're hear to read his story, not criticize the poor guy to death. It doesn't take nearly a whole freakin slew of posts to get the point. I for one, thought that his sl was nice. Good job!

I'll start breaking my paragraphs more often so that it isn't so clumped and difficult to read.
It'd be nice when I finally finish to be able to go back and edit the past RPs, breaking up where need be.

Broli, if i were you i wouldn't even bother. Stick with what you're doing. The Fight to regain Vegita-sei is ridiculously good read, and your work in some Saga's that i've read with your work are very intense reads. You shouldn't have to change how you write to satisfy these grammar nazi's, it's a god damn RPG, it's about creating great storylines and ideas and devoloping them, not having everything perfect in every way. For everyone in this thread that basically argued that the amazing quality of this RPG is overshadowed by the mildly bad grammar, I recommend shooting yourself in the forehead.
It's an amazing read, with excellent quality, keep it coming, and i'll keep on reading.

Somebody posted a thread about it in the RPG Discussion board and people gave their thoughts and they were reasobable, people are allowed to do that, and just because you don't like what they said, Mino, does not giv eyou the right to say that about them. I, personally, practically always notice grammatical errors which interrupt the flow of the RP, so how is it not valid to critique on that?
I even said that Broli didn't have to and that I was merely saying SB was right, so be careful what you say, Mino.

Broli can make a new thread if he wants.
Minoshia, I and other staffers and getting tired of the flames, and also you coming into arguements late only to make it worse. Control your temper. One more warning and your gone, permanetly.
Locked. Any problems can be directed to my PM, or Hellfighter's PM.
