That's a complaint I don't really understand. If all the games were the same, sure I would give it some merit, but they're not. Its not Dynasty Warriors.

There have been some good Final Fantasy games (6 is the best, imo) and some bad ones (popular opinion would indicate X2 or 8), but there are very very few things the individual games have in common. If the series had turned into nothing but shitty games, yeah I would agree, but again, most of the FF games are good, fun, RPGs.

Hmmm, I was one of the unlucky people that bought a bugged FF8, so you got to a certain point, and it froze. =/ I was really enjoying that game too.... The only 3D FF I've played is FFX, and it was great, I played it three times through.

I guess you could beat it quickly if you didn't do any of the side things (which there are actually a surprising number of). It's a great game, one that I've played through twice. But for some reason, I've always stopped just before beating Kefka. Like, just before. One of these days I'll beat it.

Well, I just bought FFXII, and wow, I love it. I am not a big fan of the fighting system, but all of the side things you can do are amazing. It's beautiful, like every FF game, and seems to have a nice storyline.

Ugh, that's like burning Isaac Asimov books just because there are so many of them.

There are a few bad FF titles merely because they wanted to pinch out some extra money, but the mainstream titles are pure gold.

I've done that with 8 and 9. Like, literally up to the final boss. On 10, I'm up to crazing flying Seymour at the top of that Rhonso mountain place. It's like some kind of crazy tradition not to finish the game for me.
