Tien stood atop the highest mountain in his general location, he was in deep meditation, and had been for nearly a week. He had gone undisturbed thus far, and if he were to be interrupted now, he would have to start all over. His back was perfectly straight, his arms were crossed, and all three of his eyes were shut. From an outside view it would seem he was sleeping, by his mind was hardly at ease, rather, it was hard at work at developing itself, to become better than ever before in order to?
To what? Tien was working hard, training himself to become the best he has ever been, but for what purpose? Even if he became stronger, or even wiser, he would still be no where near the strength of his comrades. His thought was suddenly wiped away as he sensed a mysterious creature approaching him from behind.
?Trunks, what brings you all the way out here? It must be important if your interrupting my meditation?
Tien was trying to mask his anger in order to avoid unnecessary bitterness.
?How did you know my name!??
?What? Don?t you remember that I was with Goku when you came back to warn us about the Androids.?
?I see. It must be that in this universe, things were much different.?
?You mean, your not the trunks that we saw then??
?No. In truth I am not. In my universe we needed no need for Goku?s strength, nor did we need anyone to defeat the Androids. There was already someone who murdered them all without mercy.?
Tien?s eyes widened in disbelief. ?What sort of monster could do such a thing.?
?You speak well, as if you would be a good person to befriend, but in my time, that monster was you! So I am here to kill you.?
Before Tien could answer back Trunks came at him with his sword, and when he came in the necessary vicinity, he threw his sword downward, only to strike air. Tien had dodged Trunk?s attack, and he then used both arms to spike him to the ground, similar to a volleyball player spiking a volleyball. He then finished Trunk?s off by putting his hands together, and shouting, ?Tri Beam!?
He looked down at the smoke, and thought to himself that the Tien Trunks spoke of, may not only be far from reality.
