When you're a little kid, you want to be grown up. It's a fact. Sadly, it bit me in the ass.

When I was about 11-12, I created this alter ego of myself. Basically me, but older. By about 3-4 years. At the time, it was fine. No big deal. Just a kid trying to be older. But now, flash forward to almost ten years later, I'm an adult and I think pretending I'm older is ridiculous. I realized this when last night I was explaining a situation that went down, and I was changing around facts to make it sound real (for the record, Vent people, it was real.)

So, what I'm trying to say, I'm an exagerated truth. Not a lie. I'll explain who I really am.

My name is Noah. I really do go by Rebnik in my real, everybody life. Hardly anyone calls me Noah.

I'm 19, not 23.

My best friend's name is Tami. No, she's not my wife. Yes, she did live with me at one point and still does on occasion crash over at my place. But there are no romantic feelings. Ive known her since pre-school and we've been through the relationship thing before.

I live with two roommates, a male and a female.

I don't have any kids, but my brother does have three kids, and they are all named Michelle, Tori and Rachel. I actually helped name the twins. I don't know why I ended up lying about have a wife and kids. I think it was a stupid kid move I made when I was 14-16, and now that I've older I've had to live with those stupid lies.

I don't own my own business, but there really is an electronic recreation center here in my town and I do work there. I also work at Borders Books and Music.

I really did wrestle briefly when I was 16.

So...I'm laying it here. Not gonna lock the thread. If you wanna bash me, go ahead. The truth is, I don't care what anybody thinks about me. The person you've seen on these forums is not a different personality. I'm really brash in real life, I don't hold back and I'm not gonna lie to somebody if I have an issue with them. The only thing I was dishonest about was details about my real life...my online persona is completely real.

If the staff feels they can't work with or under me anymore, I'll drop. But I'm not leaving the forums unless forced. I want to keep writing and hosting, because it's a passion of mine.

I'm going to go start on DA work. I'll let the Vent people talk it out and when/if you guys wanna talk to me, just have Laura call me.

I do apologize, but it gets to the point that, well...it was a kid move I made when I was kid and I'm not a little kid anymore.

I have no problem with you telling some fibs. People do it all the time to impress others (Not implying that those were your reasons). You just did it on a larger scale. Same basic thing though. Not gonna judge you. It's not my place to. To me you're still the same person, though of course I didn't exactly know all of your info (fake) anyway.

For some reason I have wanted to call you Noah before. From somewhere, I had heard it. And dismissed it. But the information was there.

Anyways, yeah, it all fits in to things I've known about you and even if you are full of shit in this post it fits perfectly with other assumptions, Borders, etc.

I once lied about going to school drunk, back when I was a n00b. I figured you guys would think I was "cool" and "accept me" if I said that.

I also made up a couple stories (literally 2)... I only remember one. I said that my brother had gotten jumped and put in the hospital, well, he didn't. Now he's missing and nobody knows where he is and I feel like shit for making that up.

Just lied again, I remember the other one. I said something about a guy that beat me up in school, how I had taken him to the lake and had people hold a gun to his head. Or something. Obviously, lie. The guy did beat me up, in front of everybody, and I didn't fight back. Eh.
