EDIT: I got Sieg up to level 9 and bought all of his weapons. I guess I should start breaking the rust off of my Seong Mi-na or Sophitia skills next.

I still haven't gotten over how badass the new Soul Caliber looks.

I know. I've been reading up on it. As long as he's in it, I will continue to play the series. He's the king.

I remember thinking how amazing he was in the first Soul Caliber. I just kind of stopped playing him after that, though. Well... I would pick him up occasionally in 2, but I don't think I ever used him on purpose in 3.

He has and always will be my character. He's fast and efficient, and a combo-whore.

You don't actually have to do anything to unlock Darth, which is kinda cool. I still haven't played as him, though. Not sure why I would, when Siegfried is right there.

Darth Vader's not bad. He's way more of a powerhouse-type character than I was expecting those. His force powers don't seem to be game-breaking either. It looks like they actually wanted to make him a legitimate character.

Played around with a few other characters. Taki seems slower than I remember her, and her damage is about what you'd expect. There don't seem to be any real major changes to Sophitia, which is fine by me. Seong Mi-na has had a handful of her moves changed, but they're all good changes imo.

So far, I definitely haven't seen anything that looks broken or horribly unbalanced.

That's too bad. The whole point of Taki was her being a cheap speedy little jumper.

I didn't actually look through her move list, but I couldn't figure out how to actually jump. I can roll all over the place, but that's not nearly as fun.

And I guess I should have been more clear. Her step speed is just as awesome as I remember it being, but her attacks seemed to come out slower.

I gotcha. That's lame. How's Raphael? He's my backup.

Haven't used Raph yet. I did use Amy, though (new character; she's kind of a "Raph lite") and she was pretty awesome.

I imagine Raphael has all of the rapier badassery that we've come to love/hate.
