Try a Piccolo sig, no specs. Be like Nike, Just Do it. (not saying you have to do it just saying you can do the specs however you want =D.)

There does.

It adds depth to your tag, and it makes it seem less flat. If you don't do that, you're sigs.. Well, they will look like crap. ;o

I disagree Ballo. While lighting effects can help, a lot of the time people go overboard with it and it washes out a sig.

I think lighting has more to do with personal style then as a rule of thumb. I'm no artist, but i do know what I like.

The craze of sig making has kind of adopted photography rules. Now sigs are expected to have amazing colors, depth, good lighting, a little contrast, and then someone can add their unique style to the sig.


Example: I personally go for simplicity. I don't like a lot of effects. Tom, on the other hand, is more effect-based. His style involves more effects and some awesome lighting.
