Finally watched the whole Mad Max trilogy today, back to back.

Worst movies ever.

But, at least I saw where Fallout got most of its design motifs. Literally, when you wear a leather jacket in the original Fallout the character looks like Max from the second movie, and that's just the beginning. I don't think Fallout would exist if not for the Mad Max movies. Horrible movies, though. Just terrible.

Fallout wouldn't exist had Mad Max not existed, because Wasteland wouldn't exist had Mad Max not existed, you are correct.

Essentially Fallout is a pseudo-homage to a pseudo-homage.
