Kokukashin's hand cuffs automatically released, as the man said they would. His wrists both instantly began to have a feeling of euphoria after being released, as the handcuffs had been so tight that Kokukashin was surprised he did not die of cut off circulation. He took his mouth gag out, and struggled to release his body from the rope he was tangled up in. His brain was still trying to understand why he was here, and what would happen.
Then, it all came rushing back to his mind. He had been running through the streets of South City when men dressed in black, SWAT team-like suits began to unload rounds of bullets on him. If those rounds were actually bullets, it would be much more likely that he would be dead now, so he assumed they were tranquilizing devices.
He watched as a girl with bubblegum-pink hair went crashing through a rustic shop window nearby. Once he finally pried the last rope off of his body, he got up from under the angel statue, and dashed towards the building to help the girl out.
As he was sprinting towards the dilapidated shoppe, the words of the women named Rose echoed through his head. 100,000 Zeni? That sounded a little too good to be true. He considered abandoning this odd scene...but that was near impossible. The ocean could be seen nearby, making it obvious that they were on an island. If Kokukashin started to fly, and he got tired in the middle of the ocean, the results could be devastating.
Once he arrived at the front door of the shop, he jiggled the door knob, only to find the door locked. He chambered his leg back before kicking in the flimsy, wooden door.
"Are you Okay?" He asked the girl, while reaching his hand out to help her.
