I probably write like that now after playing the game. It was totally way too cheesy, on purpose, and was consequentially epic. The over-written metaphors are the best. (A thousand pounds of bricks from the top of the Empire State? Whatever.)
Learning Deathblows in Xenogears is fucking complicated as shit, yet addicting. I ended up playing until 7 AM training Bart, Rico, and Elly (she has to be in the party, otherwise that bitch would be on the SYDE. LYNE.). Only learned like 2 deathblows though, that's kinda frustrating. =(
And I'm hooked btw. The story lulled towards the 7 hour mark, but now I'm 20 hours in and loving it like nobodies business. Should be studying for midterms but fuck that!11!1! Rite???
