He didn't really like the outdoors very much, but Sebastian Strong was pretty good holding his own. He had a group of ten soldiers walking around him, ensuring he was safe from traps in the jungle or any animals that were hunching around, but honestly he hardly needed it. The worry was mainly from the heat and the blazing sun that hit him past the treetops.
The man wiped the sweat off of his forehead and put his white mask back over his head, ensuring it was held tight to his face.
"Sir?" One of the soldiers asked, "How far deep are we going?"
"We're going to the site of the Nanihiti Tribe," he explained, "Before we got here, Kai had them relocated, so their village is still intact, just abandoned. Hopefully it's not too ravaged by animals."
The soldier nodded and moved away from him, letting him walk in silence. That was always the rule. Never talk to Sebastian unless necessary. He wasn't your friend, and he wasn't interested in trying to be.
It wasn't that the man wasn't a sociable person. Get him in the real world and he can drink and have fun with the best of 'em. But Kai had contacted him through the underground fight network he was connected to and employed him. This was a job. This was serious business.
Of course, he hadn't expected the burglary on Kajin Rala to get traced all the way here. The changeling had got a tip that funding came from Kai, because of the paycheck Sebastian used to fund one of the groups involved. Fortunately, thanks to his own meddling, Balrog had taken out Szar, and Trisha was sure to take care of the redhead and the blonde, who had already forgotten about the incident on Kajin Rala.
As he took note of the tiger footprints in the mud, he pondered who was following him. They were surely going to run into his traps, but would probably get by them, knowing the group Kai had found. Even though he was an underground fighting champion, Sebastian didn't like getting his hands dirty. He was your typical gay man when it came to looking good: Scars are not pretty.
"Sir!" Someone said, interupting his thoughts. He turned, annoyed, to find one of the scouts behind him. "We found the team chasing you. It's the saiyan princesses...and the pink-haired girl."
"That's it?" He asked, blinking in surprise. "They sent three useless little girls to fight me? I'm Sebastian Strong! I'm the fastest and most beautiful man in the world and all I get as a challenge is three toddlers?"
The man pulled out the Snake Emblem and smirked.
"Fine," he said, "So be it. We'll have a little fun with them."
He wasn't like the other Demons. Balrog didn't like to kill, but he was fighting because he owed Kai a favor. Trisha was a good fighter but had her eyes on other things, like material possessions. Rosemary, despite probably being the strongest person on the island, preferred to help somebody. Jackson was a blind puppet, a killer who fought for the right to die. Even Kai, the smartest man in the world, preferred to walk away from a fight then go through with it.
But Sebastian...he was different. He fought in underground networks because he couldn't get away with the horrible, brutal techniques he used to dismember his opponents. He was a born murderer and he loved the power of ending someone's life. It was almost like a fetish, driving him forward from kill to kill, keeping him entertained.
To this day, his death count was in the hundreds. He stopped killing people outright and started to take real, extreme pleasure out of it. Listening to them scream, watching their life slowly drift away.
"Mmmmmm," he murmured to himself, causing the scout to look confused. "I'm starting to get hot just thinking about what I'm gonna do to those girls."
The guard laughed, uncomfortable, assuming Sebastian meant rape, which was common talk about the black market soldiers Kai had gotten. But the horrible, bloody things inside Sebastian's head were the kind of images you cry over.
