[7] vs. Rosemary

[Friend or Foe]

Wizard yanked downwards on the woman who was splayed over his shoulders, contorting her spine the wrong direction and causing her legs to spread open ludely, significantly wider then had been intended naturally. The pain shot through the Prophet's body, which was an unusual feeling for Rosemary.

Despite not being used to actual, physical pain, she was being extremely resistant to the screams from her tormentor to submit. Oliver Nash encouraged her to give up, to end the pain and give him what he wanted. But she was stubborn, and she was strong. The cries never came.

Soon, the world distorted. Rosemary was no longer in his arms, but in front of him, on her knees with her bright red hair against the ground. She seemed to be sleeping, or passed out. Oliver Nash stood triumphantly above her.

"She passed out," someone said next to him. He turned to the side to see Jackson Pride. "You beat her."

Usually Nash had something witty to say. But all he could do was nod. The woman never did submit or admit loss. She kept going until her body and mind gave up on her. The old detective just bent down and scooped up the Emblem.

"We can go now," Wizard said sternly.

Jackson shook his head. "No," he told his new friend. "You go. This isn't my story. You go and fight Kai. I'll catch up...after I ensure Rose's part here is done." Again, Wizard was unusually quiet. He just nodded. He didn't know if Jackson had violent intentions for what used to be his best friend, but he did know that there was no guarantee she wouldn't wake up and reek havoc again.

(Wizard advances to the final six. Congratulations)
