Global warming HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS, regardless if it's real or not.

Any city built along the Red River is built in a flood plane. Flooding is a totally natural occurrence. If it stopped flooding, then something would be seriously wrong.

We have a really kickass floodway system, but the gates were open really late because of ice jams around the locks. So now we have basement lakes along the river. Happy to say that I'm too far away from the river to be affected.

Having some of the worst floods ever doesn't at all make these floods different than they are every year?
