What the hell with the Valve loving. Their steam system is straight out retarded. It may be that from time to time they have insane sales, but on normal days they're fucking every euro-currency country in such a way even a pornactor would be crazy.
(If anyone doesn't know, they directly converted dollar -> euro on 90% of their games. If you're not that familiar with math, 50$ sure as heck isn't 50€. On traditional games, that makes us pay 66.3949 USD instead of the traditional 50 USD.)
This doesn't beat one of their recent screw-overs though, where they had a sale on a game. It was great, 10 USD, then we looked at the euro version: 50 euro. God damn Steam didn't give us the sale. The thing that's really dumb is that we have no other alternatives if we want direct downloads, since all others either have a 2-4 weeks of country restriction (or a permanent). Either that or we can buy games I've never even heard of due to their age or popularity from various sites.
