All in good time, my dear. We'll settle this debate on my terms at a date of my choosing.

We need a Conquest sub forum here. This thread is becoming cluttered.

But, as long as nothing is being done about the current Training system and there's nowhere else to post, I'll throw my ideas up in here. This is running under the assumption that basic weapon/armor items will not change in cost, because that would throw the cost-effectiveness rates into complete chaos.

Offensive Training

Untrained: +0% for 0gold (default).
Crane Style: +10% for 250gold.
Flight: +20% for 500gold.
Ki Blast: +50% for 2,000gold.
Signature Move: +100% for 8,000gold.
Transformation: +1,000% for 100,000gold.

Defensive Training

Untrained: +0% for 0gold (default).
Turtle Style: +10% for 250gold.
After Image: +20% for 500gold.
Ki Shield: +50% for 2,000gold.
Signature Move: +100% for 8,000gold.
Unlock Potential: +1,000% for 100,000gold.

The premise is to have a low-cost starting point, so that cost can grow exponentially without spiraling out of control. Starting at tier3, the cost-effectiveness begins shrinking rapidly, but each new level is significantly better than the one before it. This combines incentive to gain new levels periodically without creating a "Training > everything" imbalance. There are far fewer levels in this version, and it's because there's no need for 259034 different training levels that nobody will ever have. The last level, obviously, is ridiculous and for two good reasons: to make sure that there's always something to shoot for, and to be a game-ending purchase because if you can buy that then you've obviously already won. Feel free to poke at the number calculations yourselves.
