Yeah I'm quite enjoying it at the moment. The story got a little bit iffy at the end of disc 1, but so far disc 2 has been really good. I got into a little bit of trouble for the first time earlier, I noticed a save point on the map so I knew there was a boss battle coming up, but I thought I'd have to move into another area to activate it, so unknowingly I ended up getting into a boss battle totally unprepared after having played for about an hour and not saving.... within about a minute 3 of my party were dead, I thought I was done for. Fortunately I managed to revive members, switch them around with the stronger characters, and got back on track. Took me about 30 minutes to defeat that boss, it was pretty tough, I wasn't doing a lot of damage for a large part of the battle for some reason so yeah, it was a bit of a grind.
And as far as annoying characters go, Angel is pretty irritating too, doesn't hold a candle to Lymle though. Arumat is pretty cool, he's fun to play as too, his chain combo's are really effective.
