I like the idea of quicker travel times - higher cost/longer travel times - lower cost. It wouldn't effect those who don't RP frequently though. They'd just buy the cheaper tickets simply because it's cheaper. Sagas are the only times I'd see people buying expensive tickets due to not wanting to miss sign up deadlines.

People who don't RP frequently don't often acquire as much money, so spending any of it still affects them.

Person A RP's actively and has collected 1000 Zeni. He buys the cheapest ticket at 100 zeni, which doesn't hurt his pocket, but he can't RP for five days. Oh noez. They might even upgrade to the 150 zeni ticket since they have a personal storyline going and want to keep the juices flowing. Way to balance out the damage to the wallet and the wait, nice work Person A.

Person B RP's every now and again and has only collected 200 zeni, poor Person B. He doesn't care how long his travel is since he doesn't RP much. But oh no! he just lost 50% of his total earnings on the cheapest ticket since, because he doesn't RP much, he can't have accumulated as much! Oh noez!

(Side Note: Prices were randomly chosen to show my point. That point being that people who don't RP alot are still affected since they won't have as much zeni.)
