I hate the rampant male-bashing that's been going on in the media this week. What with queen feminist/man-hater, Harriet Harman taking over as Prime Minister while Gordon Brown is on holiday, and taking every available opportunity to spread her hatred of the male species. Started with her saying that it should be a law that atleast one of the top two jobs in the country should go to a woman, because, "Men can't be trusted to run the country on their own". Then came the oh so clever sound bite, that if the Lehman brothers had instead be the Lehman sisters, there wouldn't be a recession right now. Finally there was some plan to teach school children about domestic abuse, and basically about how evil all men are.
Ontop of that today there were two seperate stories, one about a woman in Greece setting a British man's genitals on fire cause he came on to her, another about some jilted lovers who lured a man to a motel in Wisconsin, tricked him to get him tied to a chair and blindfolded, then preceded to beat him, and errr, glue his penis to his stomach... Yeaaah the female journalists loved that, gurrrl power and all that shit.
Pretty depressing.
