Rod Hardwood Wrote:360's may break easily, but that's why they retroactively gave 3 year warranties for the most common problems. I had three boxes break, largely because I would put them under a stress test: leave it turned on for a week, putting things on top of it to trap heat, rapidly file through game menus for extended periods of time.
Fourth one is working fine, I don't know how long its been, but after the three-year warranty is up I think I'll sell it and get a new one for another extended warranty. At 250 a box it's a non-issue, and even it was the alternative is a console that has a library so small that I could run through it in less time than it takes an xbox to break. :/
*shrug*
I can understand preferring Xbox exclusives to PS3 exclusives, and if you're willing to pay the price, go for it. I won't fault you.
It's at the points where you're trying to degrade the PS3 (especially in comparison the 360) that I'm poking at.
Quote:edit: yeah, xbla has a subscription, but it's worth it.
PS3 has free service. And it'd be worth paying for.
