It's not because of a single fuckup, but Kanye has been consistently douchey and it's starting to really piss off people. Even his apology was ridiculous, if you read it. He basically says that he's sorry, but he's just keeping it real and knows what good pop is.
It was like that song from Dr. Horribles Sing-a-Long Blog where Captain Hammer sings about how people can be a hero, but not a real one like him.
