Despite being written obviously for teenagers at the time, I really enjoyed it a lot and should probably reread it again. It did a very good job depicting how I would expect someone who has a lengthy amount of experience from years of living to act in situations. I can't say if it would stand the test of time if I read it again today, but I did enjoy the storyline in the six books, which I got as two books that contained three volumes each in them.
The main character was named Sita in this though and there were many discussions of Krishna, Shiva, and the other Gods of that mythology while still keeping fairly realistic, and I think the discussion of the mythological elements while combining with modern day settings was what really entrapped me.
