What are you reading?

You should read the part about the knife fight between Paul and that other dude. I want to say its either one of the Fremen or the Baron's son, but can't say for certain as its been literally ten years since I read Dune. But that knife fight is considered a literary masterpiece by many and aside from flowing well, its just a great way to style writing fights around.

I just read one actually, where he fights Jamis (the Fremen). That part was really awesome, it gave me some new ideas on how to write fights here. I'm pretty sure there's another fight with Feyd-Rautha (the Baron's nephew) at the end, that might be the one you're referring to.

The Hobbit was a lot better than LoTR. I only have a vague memory of what the books where like though, I read them when I was like 11. And watching the movies really showed me how little of the books I actually comprehended.

I've seen the LotR movies almost as many times as I've seen Star Wars (possibly more, which is frightening), but after having read all the books, I understood so much more of the content in the movies. Reading the names of people and places helps you catch it when they mention it in the movies, and it was like a new experience.
