Enjoy your job?

1. What do you do? - I work as a barista at Starbucks. It's a licensed store at my school's dining hall.

2. Do you enjoy your job? - Somewhat. I enjoy making drinks, even if they are all fruity, coffee-y things. I just hate when there are 80 bajilion people and my coworkers are too stupid to be of any help.

3. Why?/Why not? - I'm the only male who works there. There was one other male and he was gay. The management is mostly middle-aged white women, with some awkward college girls as well. All this estrogen leads to bickering and gossip that I'm forcibly exposed too at all times. I'm also always the odd man out...because I am, in fact, a man.

4. What did you do before this job? - I was a Resident Assistant. I got paid to deal with idiots and do a lot of stupid, frivolous work. I loved the job (mostly).

5. Why? Because I need a job to pay for rent and essentials. If I didn't need to pay for anything, I'd totally work as a lab assistant or something similar.
