I am curious to know what combinations of class and race would you consider to be "wrong" according to the general WoW community?

By roleplay standards, anything can work really.

If you are looking for min/max viability, its a totally different look at it.

Pretty much Troll ANYTHING is going to be inferior to any other race choice for both PVE and PVP. They are mostly picked for "coolness" and "looks", which is why RP standards would apply there.

Otherwise, it entirely depends on the role you wish to play, PVE or PVP, as well as the role IN those situations (arena dps, arena healer, raid tank, etc).
