Not very good for you.
A lot of energy drinks contain a cocktail of ingredients to boost energy, but some studies have shown that metabolic changes occur such as increased blood pressure, abnormal heart rhythms, and an increased "stickiness" of blood platelets. All very bad. Though it depends on the drink and the consumption of it.
I don't think any sudden deaths, or deaths in particular have been directly linked to the consumption of energy drinks- save for those who mix them with alcohol.
But there is a current study that has found a possible correlation with energy drinks and seizures. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science?_ob...2002196b67
