Energy Drinks

I used to drink ED's heavily. Two to three big cans daily. Usually back to back, through my classes. One day I stood up and walked over to the door at a friend's place, reached for the handle, and passed out. I quit drinking them like that over two years ago.

Yesterday after going almost without caffeine (Strongest stuff I had was probably milk, not even coffee) for several weeks I found a Red Bull behind my bed. I drank that puppy to help me study, and eight hours later I was wide awake when trying to go to sleep, as well as irritable throughout the day, overspoken, and yada yada yada. The point is, ED's are bloody strong, and potentially dangerous.

Coffee is six different kinds of win, though. Coffee is probably the only healthy energy supplement short of vitamin regimens and exercise. Healthy in that if you don't drink in
excess and dehydrate yourself, then it's not bad for you. It's also good to drink a cup of black coffee before a work out in some cases, to boost the effectiveness of the workout. ED's have too much sugar or fake sugar, both of which are bad for you. Fake especially.

My favorite tasting ED is Red Bull. It even smells good. Doesn't mean I'd drink the stuff though.
