That's not suprising though, he may not have any preconceptions about race and stature. Being racist means he thinks his race is superior to another, and prejudice means he thinks that people are inclined to do a certain thing. Saying chinamen is not political correct, but given his age that's probably what he was taught to say and has become part of his volcabulary.

chinaman is actually not-PC, if you say it then you're cast as a cultural illiterate throwback. that's what makes old people so great, though. they're aware that the soft thought-crime of political correctness exists, but they're oblivious to how it's changed over the last half century. also, the clinical term for retards is MR: mentally retarded
