It was surreal. Filling the bottom of a large, narrow underground cavern were thousands upon thousands of lights. These turned out to be torches held by monstrosities, the likes she had never seen before. Although their physique resembled that of a human, everything else about them was different. Their skin was grey and rotted, their teeth sharp and their head barely consisting of anything other then a skull and pair of eyes.
Closely packed together next to one another and equipped with armour and weapons, all of them were unusually quiet as they gazed at the figure sitting on a stone bridge above them. That figure was a dragon, it's muscular reptilian body towering above the masses of humanoid figures. Fire ocassionally accompanying it`s deafening roar, it almost seemed like it was giving them instructions.
As the monstrous army replied with screams of their own, the dragon looked up. It gazed right at her with it's white pupiless eyes, chilling her to the bone...
Tamsin abruptly woke up, awakened by the nightmare she was experiencing. Touching her temple, her head painfully throbbed as she thought of what she saw in her dream. Or was it a dream? Although she could not explain it, the girl was certain it was more then just a dream....it was a vision. But a vision of what? The creatures she saw were entirely unfamiliar to her and she did not even dare to think what their intentions were.
Finally looking at her surroundings, Suzaku found herself sitting on a blanket in some sort of camp. White tents gently glittered from the setting sun as people hastily walked around, going about their business. Some were practicing with swords and bows while others were sharpening their blades and checking their gear. It was preety obvious....they were preparing for a battle.
Looking down at her body, she realised that she was wearing leather armour instead of her usual orange uniform....or the tactical black uniform she had worn only recently. That is when she remembered what was going on....she was still in Kill Town. Gamer probably grew bored and started another round of events, sending her and everyone else away from the carnival.
It was a cruel fate, she lamented as she recalled her snack with Kazuya. For a few brief moments, she was able to not stress herself out. For a few brief moments, she was able to forget her worries and enjoy the company of another. But unfortunately for her, it was not meant to last, her troubles crashing down upon her as she was forced to snap back to reality....or fantasy, as was the case here.
Suddenly, a voice rang across the camp: "Look! Someone from the order in Orlais has arrived!" Looking at the nearby forest, the teenager did notice a robed person approaching the encampment, the thuds of his walking stick sounding ever closer. Suddenly, the person was approached by an armoured figure who's face she could not make out. However, she was clearly able to hear his words: "Welcome to Ferelden..."
The maid pondered. Orlais? Ferelden? These names meant nothing to her and probably will mean nothing in the future, assuming she survived this whole debacle. But the only way to survive was to get through the game...and to do that, she needed to find out what was going on. Hesitantly, she got onto her feet and approached the two debating individuals.
