I see camping as a form of griefing, not something separate from it entirely. How is waiting at someone's corpse for them to try and get their shit not a way to cause grief?

Because it's a minor inconvienence because it's so easy to counter. It's not like you lose anything but a tiny amount of gold (compared to the shitloads you earn in the game) from the durability loss by going to the spirit healer.
