The difference is that Blizzard wasn't like this until Activision bought them out. They stated they would never do any of this, because Blizzard was a company that refused to milk it's products. You can say what you want about pay to play games, but they didn't make you spend more then 15 dollars a month. They said there would never be faction changes, or race changes, but when they are bought out suddenly that changed.
I dislike the people who buy the products, but I HATE people who milk the product. It's not just WoW. That goes for Assassin Creed 2, Dante's Inferno, Dragon's Age, or basically, any product that within a week (some within 24 hours), have purchasable things that should have been included in the game at purchase.
I understand they are here to make money. But milking for money is different.
