There are only a couple of champions that it's considered worthwhile for: Vlad and usually Mundo. Unless you have ~225 Armor/MR, straight HP is not a very good stat. Most people also consider HP/5 a bad stat after the laning phase (obviously Mundo gets a lot out of it, but he's an exception). Since that's all Warmog's gives, and it's crazy expensive, most people consider it not worthwhile.

You should look at putting Randuin's Omen in your Mundo build. I'm a little gay for Randuin, though. Such a good item.

I, too, find Warmog's to be a little expensive for what it gives me.

Randuin's looks pretty sweet. Health, regen, and a buttload of armor. Not nearly as much health as Warmog's, but taking less damage = more Effective HP against phys, I suppose. And of course, passive and active auras look nice.

Wondering how things are going to shift with new Spirit's Visage, if at all. +200 health instead of +20 hp/5? And about 100g cheaper overall? Hmmm.
