Lots of people forget to use them. It's just something you get used to.
The awesome thing about the DFG/LB combo on Poppy is that the damage bonus from her R applies to that stuff as well. Give you four massive nukes in a row:
DFG -> Dash -> LB proc -> Nuke (-> maybe another LB)
