Jarka Wrote:Nope. Most girls (who aren't stupid and are aware of how sizing works) can actually name what size they wear for different stores.
For instance:
GAP and Old Navy give their clothes a smaller size than they actually are - a label size 4 that should be a size 6 or what have you.
The Limited tends to run larger - a label size 6 for an actual size 4.
Stores like J.C. Penny and Sears tend to run pretty accurate sizing.
To add to that problem, the stores that run larger will actually LIE to their customers in the dressing room about how they can fit into a smaller size than they actually fit into in order to sell things better (it works for dumb girls). Like, they'll actually fit into a 6, and the clerk will tell them it's too big and get them a 4 (which they squeeeeze into) and then praise how fabulous they look.
In addition to that, I would be shocked if Victoria's Secret bras fit anybody above a B cup. They say they run A - D, but they vanity size so that ladies think their little boobies are bigger than they actually are.
A study was done by Assistant Professor Tammy Kinley of University of North Texas that showed there can be up to 13 inches of difference between women's pants of the same numerical size.
This is why men can't by nice clothes for women. It requires way too much thinking.
