It was Force Unleashed 2.
That was for totally different reasons, though. You chose to ignore the side-quests and optional content to get through the story. There are no side-quests in FU2. There's some additional content, but challenges are entertaining for about 30 minutes. Maybe.
Adding harder difficulties to manufacture replayability is bullshit. Of course, because it's a "Star Wars" game, they have to add two endings. One for the Light side and one for the Dark side. As if that actually helps when you can just go straight to the last level.
