Linux is fine. Tell me what would work the best. It has a gig of RAM I put in it anyway so that shouldn't be an issue.
EDIT: Mine can stay on 24/7 unless the ISP dies or power does as well. I can give Waff my phone number in case it goes down unexpectedly and I'm not around to see it.
